- 1 cup rice (Uncle Ben’s is the best)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 T lemon juice
- 1 stick butter
- 3 cups chicken broth or 3 tsp bouillon and 3 cups water
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Add rice and mix for about 1 minute. Add salt and lemon juice. Let cook for another minute. Add bouillon and water or chicken broth. Bring to a full boil.
Cover, lower heat and simmer for 30-35 minutes or until rice is tender.
